What to expect on the day

Welcome to our festive extravaganza: the Meat Shack Christmas-themed barbecue class! Get ready to ditch the traditional turkey and roast potatoes as we embrace the holiday spirit with a unique twist. Join us for a day filled with sizzling grills, aromatic spices, and plenty of Yuletide cheer. 

In this hands-on class, you'll learn the art of crafting mouthwatering barbecue dishes infused with seasonal flavours. From succulent smoked turkey wrapped up tightly with bacon lattice to tangy grilled Brussels sprout hash and homemade cranberry sauce, we will guide you through every step of the process. 

Expect to immerse yourself in a jolly atmosphere, surrounded by fellow barbecue enthusiasts eager to celebrate the season in style. And of course, what would Christmas be without dessert? Cap off the day with a sweet finale, a cranberry and white chocolate pound cake!

The Menu

Learn to create delectable dishes such as:

• Whole roasted brined turkey in a bacon lattice
• Rib of beef
• Smoked gammon
• Sausage meat
• All the essential roast trimmings
• Cranberry and white chocolate pound cake

We welcome you to attend our bespoke barbecue school in the outskirts of Suffolk.

The school is based off road and can be tricky to find.  Using a sat nav follow the instructions to Spout Lane and follow the quiet road until you see and army base pill box on your right hand side and there is a right hand turn very shortly after this.  Follow the lane all the way to the top and you will find us waiting for you at Slough Hall.

Parking is limited, we will help you park on the day but wherever possible please do car share.
