CABINEX OUTDOOR KITCHENS

Serious Food. Serious Kitchen.

Let me give it to you straight.  There’s a lot of outdoor kitchens out there and there’s a lot of Cowboys.  We’ve looked at a lot of outdoor kitchens over the years, and when you're looking to invest your hard earnt cash into something so special, it's important to get it right. That's where Cabinex Outdoor Kitchens comes in.

We want to cut right through the corporate waffle and get right to the point to help you achieve the kitchen of your dreams without getting buried in research and salesman jargon… this is why you want a Cabinex kitchen.

Right off the gate, it looks good, it’s properly built for being outside and, most importantly, it gives you everything you actually need to cook outdoors properly.

And because we’re BBQ people, there are a few details we particularly like.

Classic or premium?

Two ways to build your Cabinex kitchen

When it comes to Cabinex, there are two straightforward options: Classic and Premium. Both give you a complete, properly built outdoor kitchen with the same core Cabinex quality, outdoor-ready construction, porcelain worktops, integrated BBQ, sink, fridge and storage.

The difference is really about space and how you plan to use it. The Classic is the more compact option — ideal when space is limited or you want everything you need without going overboard.

The Premium gives you a bigger working area, a larger sink and additional drawer storage, making it the better choice if you entertain regularly, cook for larger groups or simply want more room to work.

The sink is a small detail that makes a big difference

Welcome, the Cabinex Matte Black stainless steel sink, complete with drainer and basket waste plug.  Having water right next to the BBQ might not sound exciting on paper, but once you've got it, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Rinsing your hands, washing vegetables, filling a pan or cleaning something as you go — it all happens without going back inside.

Choice of Grill

You get a dedicated space for your BBQ and there are options for that too.  Choose from Beefeater, Napoleon or Flamkraft depending on your preference and budget and we can help you go through the options.

Cold drinks. Right where you need them.

All options include a 108 litre Cabinex bar fridge.  Designed for outdoor undercover use and has a triple glazed glass door to help keep the temperature down and reduce UV exposure.

There's also a self-closing door with low-E film to help reduce condensation, an LG Compressor, adjustable digital thermostat, adjustable shelves and an internal LED light.

In other words, you don't need to keep walking back into the house every five minutes.  And let's be honest, that's exactly what an outdoor kitchen is supposed to prevent.

  • Built properly for the outdoors

The core of the kitchen is built using Cabinex's patented aluminium framing system, creating a rigid and robust structure. Lightweight, durable and waterproof PVC panels are then added to create the finished cabinets.

That matters when your kitchen is going to spend its life outside.

The materials are designed to deal with the weather, while the surfaces are easy to wipe down and don't leave you worrying about every little mark, spill or splash.

  • The stunning porcelain worktops

The Black Porcelain worktops and waterfall ends, the show stopper for any outdoor entertaining.  They look bloody good, but they're not just there for show.

They're waterproof and resistant to scratching, high temperatures and UV rays, so they're designed to cope with the sort of abuse an outdoor kitchen actually gets.  We know.  Ours get used daily to film, teach and eat on.  They really are put through the Meat Shack test of time of hot pans, BBQ tools, spilled sauce, rain, sunshine — it's a worktop you can actually use.

  • Don't underestimate the adjustable feet

Here's another little detail we really like.  Every cabinet has adjustable feet.  Most patios aren't actually level. They have a fall built into them so rainwater can run away.

That means a kitchen without proper adjustment can end up looking wonky, doors don't sit properly and worktops aren't level.  You can level each cabinet properly when you install it, giving you a much better finished result.

  • Flat packed. Not flat quality.

Both the Classic and Premium kitchens are supplied flat-packed, making them straightforward to transport and assemble. But of course, professional installation is also available as an optional extra.
