CANCELLATION REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY
The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings made with JMS BBQ School (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Cancellations by the Customer
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through the contact details provided on our website. The effective date of cancellation will be the date on which written notice is received.
a) Cancellations Made 14 Days or More Before the Scheduled Class Date
Customers are entitled to either:
- A 100% refund of the booking fee, or
- A transfer of the booking to an alternative class date, subject to availability.
b) Cancellations Made Between 7 and 14 Days Before the Scheduled Class Date
Customers are entitled to either:
- A 50% refund of the booking fee, or
- A transfer of the booking to an alternative class date, subject to availability and at our discretion.
c) Cancellations Made Less Than 7 Days Before the Scheduled Class Date
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled class date.
Transfers to alternative dates are not guaranteed and may be considered only at our discretion.
2. Short-Notice Cancellations & Exceptional Circumstances
We recognise that unforeseen circumstances can arise. While the above policy applies in all cases, customers are encouraged to contact us directly if they need to cancel or amend a booking at short notice. Any flexibility offered within 7 days of a class date will be at our sole discretion and subject to availability.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method and processed within a reasonable timeframe. Any transaction fees charged by third-party payment providers are non-refundable.
4. Changes or Cancellations by JMS BBQ School
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a class, customers will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- A transfer to an alternative class date.
We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by customers, including travel or accommodation expenses.
