What to Expect

Suit up... because this isn't your average BBQ class.

Our Avengers Live Fire Experience is a special one-off event celebrating the food inspired by some of the most iconic moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether you're a lifelong Marvel fan, a comic book enthusiast or simply love great food cooked over fire, this is a class unlike anything else we run.

Throughout the day, you'll recreate a menu inspired by memorable meals from the films reimagined with our own live-fire twist, using wood, charcoal and smoke to take these cinematic favourites to the next level.

As with all of our classes, you'll be hands-on throughout the day, learning new techniques, cooking over live fire and picking up plenty of tips and tricks along the way. But this class is just as much about the experience as it is the food, with plenty of Marvel references, laughs and surprises thrown in for good measure.

This is a limited-edition event and won't become part of our regular class calendar, making it the perfect excuse for Marvel fans to assemble, fire up the grills and enjoy an unforgettable day of live-fire cooking.

Techniques learnt

• Different style of grills, getting the most out of what you own on the day
• Meat preparation
• Using the rotisserie grill
• Two zone cooking
• Cooking to temperature and not to time
• Using flavourings and glazing with sauces
• Using charcoal, electric, wood pellet and gas grills
• Using smoking woods to adapt flavour

Menu

Learn to create delectable dishes such as:

• The Shawarma Initiative :  Fire-roasted chicken shawarma, flatbread, garlic yoghurt, pickles and chilli
• Hulk Smash Tacos:  Smoked beef, charred tortillas, salsa verde, pickled onions and guacamole
• The 3000 burger:  Double smash burger, American cheese, charred onions and special sauce
• Thanos’ Farmhouse:  smoked pork belly, fire fried eggs, crispy potatoes and sour dough
• Black widows PB&J:  Fire roasted brioche, peanut butter, jam, chocolate and smoked banana

The school is based off road and can be tricky to find.  Using a sat nav follow the instructions to Spout Lane and follow the quiet road until you see and army base pill box on your right hand side and there is a right hand turn very shortly after this.  Follow the lane all the way to the top and you will find us waiting for you at Slough Hall.

Parking is limited, we will help you park on the day but wherever possible please do car share.
